Photographic Collections

Cork City and County Archives holds several major photographic collections.

Sets of photographs and photographic albums are also found in many of our personal/family collections and local authority and other corporate archives collections.

The Archives has an active programme of digitising photographs and placing them online. You may view several thousand digitised photographs in our Online Digital Collections and our online catalogue.

The remainder of the photographs held, which are not yet digitised, are listed in our online catalogue and descriptive lists and are accessible in hard copy in our Research Room by appointment.

The Archives may provide research or publication copies on request for a charge.
