Cork City and County Archives is the designated archives service for local authority archives from Cork.
Archive collections held include those from current local authorities Cork City Council and Cork County Council, and various defunct local authorities such as the Grand Jury of County Cork, 15 Cork county based poor law union boards of guardians (workhouses), town councils/urban district councils/town commissioners, rural district councils, boards of health and public assistance, Youghal Corporation, homes and hospitals.
Records found may include: minute books recording meetings and decisions, managers orders, files, correspondence, financial records, registers, reports, legal documents, maps plans and drawings, and photographs.
