Where a Reader is not in a position to attend the CCCA in person to do research, we offer a limited copying service. Charges apply.

The CCCA can undertake limited paid research to look up the following classes of records in relation to deceased persons:

  • Cemetery burial registers
  • Workhouse inmate records
  • Hospital patient registers (over 100 years old)
  • School Records (over 100 years old)

This service only applies to the look up of a specific record for a specific person/name, and the date of death and the relevant cemetery/workhouse/hospital name/location must be provided.

We are unable to undertake detailed or extensive research. (For extensive research, we recommend obtaining the services of a genealogist or local historian.)
