We also provide a limited paid research service (see below), but we are not in a position to undertake extensive or detailed research.

We recommend that you submit your query by email.

The CCCA can undertake limited paid research to look up the following classes of records in relation to deceased relatives, for example:

  • Cemetery burial registers
  • Workhouse inmate registers
  • Hospital patient registers (over 80 years old)
  • School registers and roll books (over 80 years old)

This service only applies to the look up of a close relative and a specific record for a specific person/name, and the year/date of death and the relevant cemetery/workhouse/hospital/institution name/location must be provided.

We are unable to undertake extensive research. For extensive research, we recommend obtaining the services of a genealogist or historian.
